What is Osh Online

OSH On Line is an occupational health and safety management system that is based on the requirements of Australian Standards - AS 4801, AS 4804 and AS 4360.

The system is on line so there is no need to implement a technical program or administrator at your workplace. All you do is simply log in from any computer with internet access and the rest is up to us. We will ensure the system is maintained, kept up to date and provide assistance to you when required.

This simple to use program provides a foundation for managing OHS within a company/ organisation/ department - from a single site location to a multi site national/international work environment.

Standard templates are used throughout the program to capture data for key issues such as risk assessments, hazards, incidents/accidents, training etc. The information gathered at the input stage is stored in the system so it can be used for identifying the current status of those areas or for searching specific details when required. Action details which arise out of the inputs (e.g. implementing controls) are captured with dates, responsible persons and actions which are supported by emails to nominated persons. These nominated persons can include (but is not limited to) the person who is required to implement the actions, supervisors, key managers or the manager of the OHS function. Details of the key contacts to be included in the nominated persons register will be determined at the set up stage.

Templates for capturing data when an injury occurs or when conducting an investigation or risk assessment can be downloaded from the system to assist with capturing data at the source. When the information has been obtained the completed form can be used to upload relevant data into the system by the relevant person.

Reports and graphs are available for a large number of key areas and can be downloaded for use in monthly OHS and management reports. The reports can also be provided to health and safety inspectors/investigators when requesting details of OHS performance at an organisation.

There are a number of automatic reminders to ensure the organisation is kept abreast of actions required, such as implementation of controls, training, reviews, testing/ monitoring, issuing of PPE etc. Manual input reminders are also available to assist people using the system.

A number of procedures, checklists and templates are available on line e.g. OHS Committee agenda and minutes to assist organisations where no standard form is in current use. Company specific information can be also be uploaded into the program and kept on file - hard copies can be scanned to ensure all relevant information is retained.

Details from your HR Data base can be uploaded onto the OSH On Line system at the commencement of the program to populate the relevant employee data required.

Work Solutions can assist organisations with developing company specific procedures and implementing appropriate strategies to gain accreditation for self insurance and other management programs including SafetyMAP and AS 4801.
